GOOD BEHAVIOUR AT COPENHELL

COPENHELL is a music festival defined by an enormously strong audience culture that helps us give guests the best possible experience when so many people gather in one place to celebrate heavy music every year. It is a culture characterized by mutual respect, care and great openness toward people’s differences and the many different ways one can choose to attend a festival.

People who look like they have just stepped up from the underworld can turn out to be some of the sweetest and most caring people you have ever met in your life. That is no surprise to those of us who know metal culture, but it is a good thought to keep in mind whether you are a seasoned festivalgoer or visiting us for the first time.

Every year the festival has an army of volunteers who work like crazy to put everything together and are a very important part of the COPENHELL community. Remember that they are all there to give you the best possible festival experience – be sure to give them one smile too many rather than too few and throw in some horns and hand signs to show them that you appreciate their tremendous efforts.

Each year we also welcome a group of brand new festival guests to COPENHELL, and we look forward to welcoming them warmly and helping them understand the festival culture that we have built together with our audience over many years. That is why we have put together this collection of tips and guidelines for good behavior at the festival so you know what we expect of you and how you can best help others who run into trouble.
