Insider Tips
There are two kinds of people who show up at COPENHELL for the first time: Those who have read the “Practical Information” section on our website from start to end, downloaded the app, planned their festival schedule, brought a laminated concert timetable and arrive like a true festival ninja. And then there are those who show up at 3:30 PM with sunburned shoulders, low blood sugar, 6% battery on their phone and pure desperation in their eyes in the middle of the Mad Max-like chaos.
So here are some general tips for those visiting COPENHELL for the first time:
Install the COPENHELL app on your phone. It’s not just a nice-to-have; it’s your digital sherpa during the festival because beyond finding important information, you can also plan your own personal festival schedule, make sure that you receive notifications before the concerts that you want to see and receive important push notifications from COPENHELL (we solemnly make the unholy promise to not spam you before, during or after the festival!). The app also contains a detailed interactive map of the festival site to help you find your way around.
If you are the type who prefers to keep your phone in your pocket, forget about apps and experience everything while being fully analogue, you can always use our physical map with the concert schedule printed on the back, which will be handed out when you get your wristband; alternatively, you can also pick one up at the info booth on the festival site while supplies last.
Also remember to follow our newsletter (you can sign up in the bottom of this site)! COPENHELL regularly sends out important information across all our channels – website as well as social media – and all of it is gathered together in our newsletter and delivered straight to your inbox, where you can read it at your own convenience and get yourself well-prepared for the adventure ahead.
All the music at COPENHELL can be heard in advance via our official playlists on Spotify and Tidal respectively, so we also recommend following those while you plan what you want to experience at the festival. You can find them here:

Finally, we also recommend that everyone arrives as early as possible. The COPENHELL festival site opens at 12:00 each day, and the first concerts begin as early as 12:30–12:45, so there is plenty to do right from the start. And there is just something truly special about those early relaxed afternoon hours, when people drift casually around the site before things really pick up as the day goes on.
