What should I bring?
We recommend that all festivalgoers bring the following to COPENHELL:
Just do it – and make sure to buy decent ones, so you can protect your precious ears while still getting good sound quality during the concerts. Music is played loud at COPENHELL, and we really do want you to come back and still be able to hear music when you are retired.
And remember to reapply it regularly on the really hot and cloud-free days, because it makes no difference just sitting at the bottom of your bag doing nothing.
If you require prescription medication beyond standard painkillers or antihistamines, and you are unsure whether you are allowed to bring it into the festival, we recommend emailing info@copenhell.dk to request a dispensation so you are on the safe side.
If you need refrigerated storage for medication (such as insulin), you can ask at the info booth in the entrance area, where they can store it for you at your own risk, provided that they have space.
You may not bring liquids (other than hand sanitiser) into the festival grounds, but we recommend bringing an empty water bottle or flask that you can fill up at the drinking water stations by the toilet islands throughout the day. Please note that your bottle must not be made of metal – and aluminium is a metal (we really don’t want to have that argument again, so don’t get us started…). And above all: REMEMBER TO DRINK WATER, OR YOU WILL DIE, as we say here in Denmark!
A small backpack is a great idea for carrying your things around the festival grounds. You can also rent a locker and deposit it in a cabinet in the entrance area, which you can access at any time during the festival.
garderobeskab, så du kan deponere den i et skab i indgangsområdet, hvor du hele tiden kan få adgang til den under festivalen.
We constantly refill containers of soap and hand sanitiser at the toilet islands, but COPENHELL is a festival filled with happy people and plenty of surfaces that reflect that. Enough said. You are allowed to bring a small bottle of hand sanitiser in your bag, and it can feel infinitely useful in situations that require no further description…
Make sure to store your valuables – phone, credit cards etc. – securely while you are at concerts. A zipped belt bag is the best option; alternatively, we recommend pockets with zips. COPENHELL concerts, like all concerts, unfortunately also attract pickpockets, and we encourage all festivalgoers to make life as miserable for them as possible, first and foremost by making it extra difficult for them to lift other people’s belongings.
