GET YOUR COPENHELL WRISTBAND ON BEFORE THE FESTIVAL
Come to Onkel Danny’s Plads in Copenhagen in the days leading up to COPENHELL to get your festival wristband fitted while you listen to heavy live music and visit our new metal clothing graveyard, where your old gear can rise from the dead.
As is tradition, COPENHELL is hosting pre-events in the four days leading up to this year’s festival, from June 20 to June 23. All festival wristbands will be fitted here – including for volunteers! – and there will be opportunities to buy brand-new COPENHELL merchandise, soak up plenty of great festival atmosphere and of course rock out to heavy music.
New this year, all visitors can also explore our Cemetery Closet – a graveyard for forgotten merchandise, dead band tees and worn battle vests, where items can be swapped and revived with a round of metal necromancy:
Gravedigger’s Market – free swap meet and upcycling where you can bring your worn-out metal gear to give it new life in someone else’s wardrobe and find new (old) pieces for your own
Battle Workshop – get patches sewn onto your vest in exchange for horns, good vibes and big smiles
Bring It Back to Life – give your old metal gear new life by having it reworked into everything from beanies and tote bags to skirts and new shapes
Everything in the Cemetery Closet is completely free – but we reserve the right to decline jobs we can’t get through, survive or stand behind.
Below is an overview of the opening hours for each day – note that Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21 are open from 12:00 to 20:00, while Monday June 22 and Tuesday June 23 are open from 14:00 to 20:00:
