COPENHELL CONCERT GUIDE
The beating heart of COPENHELL is the multitude of concerts that the audience experiences during the four festival days. Many traditions and activities are tied to the hard and heavy music and the strong culture surrounding it. You can especially feel it during the shows, where people throw themselves into everything from crowdsurfing and mosh pits to walls of death and circle pits – audience rituals that the initiated understand completely, while outsiders often stand watching in confusion.
We want to make it easier for everyone to decode what is going on during the concerts – and how to take part in all the madness in the best way possible – because everyone is welcome to join in!
Therefore, we have made a guide to help both new and seasoned festivalgoers navigate the chaos in front of the stages, showing how to act with respect and consideration while contributing to the shared experience.
Wild mosh pits, crowdsurfing and all the other craziness only work because COPENHELL’s audience takes such good care of each other. So we ask you to read this guide – and maybe read it again right before the festival – so you will know exactly what both your fellow music fans and we as organizers expect from you.
