COPENHELL 2026 – MORE THAN MUSIC
COPENHELL is not just a music festival. It is a dark parallel dimension where Viking battles erupt in the middle of the festival grounds, thousands of people belt out anthems together during the raucous Power Hour in the Biergarten tent, go wild at live metal karaoke with OPENHELL or throw themselves into everything from tug-of-war and music quizzes to dildo throwing and metal bingo – and maybe end up skinning a rook for lunch.
Once again this year, COPENHELL offers a wealth of activities throughout the festival, and we guarantee that no one will be bored on the festival site, which – true to tradition – is packed to the brim with entertainment!
In the Biergarten tent, OPENHELL reigns supreme as the undisputed kings of live metal karaoke, where you can howl your favourite classics to the crowd with a top-notch live band behind you – get there early, because the mic is in high demand! Nordic Elite Wrestling delivers breathtaking drama, humour and creative use of weapons as the wildest wrestlers in the Nordics collide in a symphony of violence and metal. And table football? Beat the Bitches are world champions, national team players and Champions League winners – and they are ready to give you a loving thrashing in the Biergarten, where the party doesn’t stop until the last stragglers are gently sent home at closing time. Audiences can also look forward to music bingo, our legendary metal quiz, Sort Søndag live and Thursday’s explosive drag show with Drags From Hell – and of course the classic Biergarten chaos discipline Power Hour, where participants sing and raise their glasses daily through a full hour of rock and metal classics.
In the Boneyard area, Teater Lux presents the show Øens dæmoner vender hjem (In Danish) in complete darkness inside a shipping container, where former B&W workers returned from hell seek human blood and energy at COPENHELL. Mad Hell Games serves up knight battles, Thai boxing, a screaming machine that dispenses ice-cold lager at 130 dB and corpse paint – because of course! PEECH also delivers a sex quiz, bondage workshops and dildo throwing for those in a naughty mood.
From the Udgaard area, the Vikings of Ulfhednir march through the grounds and let battles erupt wherever there is room for mayhem, before delivering a full combat show deep in the forest with shields, chainmail and brutal energy. At Thor’s Hammer you can bring ancient symbols to life by striking your own coin with Nordic motifs to carry in your pocket as a greeting from the past. You can also try your hand at skinning, cleaning and grilling your own rook with The Rook Man – and eat its heart and liver over an open fire to gain renewed strength and wisdom.
On Buzz N’ Roll – the new name for our rolling stage in the festival’s entrance area – you can catch Kasper Deichmann’s dark electronic show ST. DIGUE and the rising band COLD CULTURE, who have been tearing up stages across Europe and are now ready to take on COPENHELL.
At COPENHELL Camping Sønder Hoved, Kevin Leo and the Loving Cruelties and Morgan Helltown set the stage for partying and hangovers respectively, and at COPENHELL Con you can experience a wealth of previously announced stage shows and activities.
You can also look forward to heavy music throughout the night in the Biergarten and Rock Bar, courtesy of Midnight Cowboy, Boogie Wookiee DJ, Queen of the Night, Martin Høgsted aka DJ Poulsen & Marco Sewohl, DJ Casper Balslev, DJ Far & Søn, New Vegas Wedding DJs, DJ Yana og Saline and Biergartens Nathold.
Are you ready to fun, games and party? See you soon at COPENHELL!
