COPENHELL Con
A GEEK CONVENTION IN THE DARK HEART OF COPENHELL
With more than 30,000 visitors, COPENHELL Con has been one of the biggest attractions at COPENHELL every year since it launched in 2022. There is a huge overlap between the passion for rock and metal on one side and everything that people can geek out over on the other – from science fiction and superheroes to retro horror films and comic books.
For the past four years, COPENHELL Con has given the audience the chance to take a break from the wild festival grounds, step into more relaxed surroundings and experience the unique meeting between the worlds of music and geek culture at the festival. Over the years, guests have been able to meet famous comic book artists, play classic arcade games, try virtual reality experiences, recharge with cozy board games, explore quirky shops and stalls, and enjoy exciting stage shows in the Con hall.
The musicians visiting COPENHELL have also long since discovered COPENHELL Con and love spending time in our geek universe. Global stars such as Corey Taylor, Scott Ian, Kerry King, Robb Flynn, Myrkur and SKYND have visited the Con stage to share their geek sides. The stage has also given audiences memorable encounters with Danish entertainment figures, including Lars Mikkelsen, Sven-Ole Thorsen, Signe Molde, Peter Madsen, Pilou Asbæk, Amanda Collin and Jakob Stegelmann.
We look forward to opening the doors to COPENHELL Con again in 2026 and welcoming all festival guests – whether they are geeks or not! One of the core ideas is that COPENHELL Con is for everyone: both those who just want to pop in quickly to taste the atmosphere and those who choose to dive deep into all the fascinating geek universes inside and truly engage with the community. In here, passion and curiosity drive everything – and we can’t wait to give the audience a host of exciting new experiences.
