RAUNCHY

RAUNCHY has always been the band that belonged everywhere and nowhere: too melodic for the death metal purists, too heavy for radio, too synth-driven for the metalcore camp and too riff-oriented to fit the industrial box.

Their sound is a unique mix of melodic death metal, metalcore, industrial and alternative metal with heavy riffs, electronic layers and choruses that lodge themselves in your brain. Albums such as Death Pop Romance from 2006, Wasteland Discotheque from 2008 and A Discord Electric from 2010 made RAUNCHY one of the most original Danish metal bands of the 2000s.

After Vices. Virtues. Visions in 2014, things went quiet and the band lay dormant for 12 years before returning to Mighty Music, who released their very first album in 2001, and recording Prisoner with Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios. We look forward to hearing both brand new and good old material from the Danish metal pioneers at COPENHELL next summer.
