COILGUNS

Angry punk, ecstatic noise rock and live shows that really throw the crowd around! Switzerland’s COILGUNS has never cared about scenes or rules. They have just one goal: to get on stage and tear it apart. The band comes from the DIY hardcore scene, but their sound has grown far beyond it. Swiss Music Export describes them as a punk-noise band that in reality plays sophisticated, progressive post-rock metal with layer upon layer and big dynamic shifts.

The band’s fourth album, Odd Love, was released at the end of 2024. It was recorded at the renowned Ocean Sound studio in Norway with Scott Evans and mixed by Tom Dalgety, who has worked with Pixies and Royal Blood. In 2025, COILGUNS set out on a major European tour with festivals such as Roadburn and 2000 Trees and support slots for Thrice and Hot Water Music. As the band says themselves: “We never believed and cared so much about scenes. Our drive was to get on stage and tear it down.”
