YOUR SHIFT
HERE YOU CAN FIND PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SHIFT, WHAT YOU SHOULD DO, IF YOU GET DELAYED OR CAN’T SHOW UP TO YOUR SHIFT.
MEETING TIME
Your exact meeting time will be viewable on www.copenhellcrew.dk. It´s important, that you arrive in enough time to make sure, that you are ready to work from when your shift start.
We recommend that you arrive at least 15 min. before your shift to make sure, that you have enough time to e.g. check-in.
CHECK IN AND OUT
When you’re volunteering at COPENHELL you must check in and out every day you’re working. It’s of the utmost importance that you remember this! Unless there is a special agreement on otherwise, you will always be checking in and out at the crew check-in area.
We will add a map with descriptions of important locations as soon as it is ready!
If you should regret volunteering, you must cancel your shift no later than June 1st. You do this via your profile on www.copenhellcrew.dk
ACCESS TO THE FESTIVAL
As a volunteer you will get access to all 4 days at the festival, and also the special volunteer area with, amongst many other things, the volunteer bar!
Furthermore, you will get access to the production areas, including Local Catering and the volunteer office, during your shifts.
HOW DO I GET MY TICKET?
When you get your shifts, you need to accept them. After doing that, you can see your ticket online on your profile on www.copenhellcrew.dk.
WHERE CAN I GET MY WRISTBAND?
You can get your wristband all the same places as everybody else. So, at the pre-party at “Onkel Dannys plads” in Copenhagen and at the Crew check-in at the festival site.
IF YOU'RE LATE
When you are volunteering, before, during or after the festival, it is crucial that you are on time. Should it occur that you are late, it is important that you phone the volunteer office at 53669666 as soon as you realize you will not make it in time. This way, we know that you’re on your way and we will not have to start looking for a replacement. It will also be easier for us to find you and direct you to your team.
If you are more than an hour late, we reserve the rights to give you shifts another day.
SICKNESS
If you fall ill or in other ways become unable to work, it’s important that you inform the volunteer office as soon as possible at 53669666 and send a notification of illness to frivillig@copenhell.dk.
You’re not registered as absent due to illness until we have received this mail from you.
If you fall ill/cannot take your shift after redeeming your ticket, you will be offered a new shift at another time. If you are not able to attend another shift, an official doctor’s certificate is required to prevent being charged for non-attendance (See “Non-attendance”).
If you fall ill during your shift, contact your team leader and the volunteer office.
NO-SHOW
If you have redeemed your ticket and received a wristband, but do not show up for one or more of your shifts, you will, if no other solution is found, be send an invoiced after the festival. If you do not pay, you will be blacklisted for future COPENHELL festivals, and the matter will be sent to debt collection. You can read more about this in the rules and conditions, you must read and confirm in connection with your registration.
