COPENHELL wants to make sure that all volunteers, employees, artists and guests make it securely through the festival. In case an accident happens, it is important that you have read this section!

Help is requested through the emergency office (“Beredskabskontoret”) at 3121 5125 (12. June – 18. June) which is staffed around the clock.

INJURY

In the case of injury, to you or others, you must do the following:

Prevent the injury from becoming worse and survey the scene

Call for help through your team leader or supervisor. Be exact about your location and the extent of the injury

Start first aid if necessary

Stay by the injured until help arrives

FIRE

In case of a fire, it’s important that you react:

Follow the evacuation procedures and your team leader’s directions. Evacuation procedures are posted on selected places around the festival

Call for help through your team leader or supervisor

If possible, attempt to put out the fire

Evacuate people, seal off the area and make room for the fire department

Be exact about your location and the extent of the fire

DISTURBANCES

If you witness disturbances or scenes potentially leading to a disturbance, you must:

Step back and assess the situation and how dangerous it might be

Call for help through your team leader or supervisor

Do not engage in the disturbances, but make sure security is on its way

THEFT

Report to your team leader or safety crew.

Description of possible perpetrators can include gender, age, build, skin tone, hair color, hair style, eye color, type of beard, distinctive features (such as tattoos), clothes etc.

Pay attention to your surroundings. If you notice anything out of the normal picture, report it to your team leader or security and remain there until the people you have contacted arrives.
