Today, COPENHELL announced this year’s COPENHELL Metal Cruise on October 24-26, 2025. AFSKY, CASTLE RAT, LLNN, GUTTURAL DISGORGE, HÅNDGEMENG and OPENHELL are ready for the dark voyage – tickets available now!
The eighth COPENHELL Metal Cruise takes place in familiar surroundings on the newly renovated ship Nordic Crown with a new owner behind the wheel. As per tradition, the voyage will be full of top-tier entertainment and lots of great COPENHELL atmosphere.
Aside from the rock and metal concerts on the ship’s stages, you can visit the best floating pub, The Sinking Ship, get a permanent memento from our seaworthy tattoo artists, join our singing sailors, try to get out of an escape room, nurse your hangover in our cozy board game salon and much more.!

The first bands are ready for the voyage:
AFSKY
With roots planted deeply in the ’90s black metal traditon and branches stretching towards both folk music and dark poetry, AFSKY delivers a beautiful fusion of brutality of melancholy. Their music is both atmospheric and merciless. Screams, spoken word and melodic depths are mixed in powerful laments – a scream from the inner abyss – that resonate far beyond the genre’s borders.
CASTLE RAT
The Brooklyn band CASTLE RAT plays doom metal that is steeped in fantasy atmosphere. Riley Pinkerton, The Rat Queen, has ventured forth to expand and defend their realm against their archnemesis, The Rat Reaperess – and she does so together with The Count, The Plague Doctor and The Druid. Excellent music for all fans of both classic fantasy and metal, from Frazetta to Sabbath!
LLNN
This growth on Copenhagen’s dark heart is not just a band – it is a sonic cataclysm! LLNN’s sound combines apocalyptic sludge, dense sci-fi landscapes and cinematic industrial chaos in music that feels less like a concert and more like the world collapsing in slowmotion around us. Think crumbling cities, cosmic horror and existential anxiety combined with seismic drums, icy-cold riffs and synth walls that sound like the screams from dying stars.
GUTTURAL DISGORGE
The new teenage quintet GUTTURAL DISGORGE plays brutal slam death metal and ever since the beginning in 2023, they have aimed directly at assuming a prominent position on Denmark’s extreme metal scene. They blew the audience away at this January’s COPENHELL Freezes Over – and we just hope that the Oslo boat’s hull will be able to withstand the punishment in October!
HÅNDGEMENG
HÅNDGEMENG is a group of five cursed guys who have been banished from the depths of hell, reek of sulphur and cheap beer – and who play to entertain the devil himself! You can look forward to their energetic, riff-heavy and hardcore-stained doom’n’roll, which is both heavy, psychedelic and diabolically atmospheric.
OPENHELL
Every year, OPENHELL is a staple act in i COPENHELL’s Biergarten tent, which is both famous and infamous for its legendary wild parties. This band also hits the Oslo boat like a storm every year with their phenomenal live metal karaoke that gives people in the audience the chance to live their rockstar dreams!
