FULL MUSIC SCHEDULE FOR COPENHELL 2023

COPENHELL rounds off this year’s music schedule with the addition of KORPIKLAANI, THREE DAYS GRACE and CROWN THE BEAST to a festival poster with no less than 76 bands in both national and international top class.

With the addition of KORPIKLAANI, the audience can look forward to another wild party when these Finns fire up their popular folk metal and absolutely magical music show; Canadian THREE DAYS GRACE plays fiery and infectious rock and visit the festival with several platinum-selling albums behind them; and the dangerous Danes from CROWN THE BEAST play groovy death metal that will make hell’s demons howl with glee. 

As per tradition, the COPENHELL 2023 line-up spans very broadly with the greatest, the smallest, the newest and the oldest from the world of hard and heavy music. This year’s festival includes several of the US’ greatest rock and metal acts ever with GUNS ’N ROSES, MÖTLEY CRÜE, SLIPKNOT and PANTERA, as well as huge bands like DEF LEPPARD from Britain, GHOST from Sweden and the audience favourite GOJIRA from France, who returns to the festival as one of the most requested bands.

Moreover, we also take a deep dive into the synth-infused and electronic sound that has started to sneak into the metal universe in recent years with bands like ELECTRIC CALLBOY, DANCE WITH THE DEAD, SLEEP TOKEN and SKYND. Genre legends like TESTAMENT, CLUTCH, NAPALM DEATH and LIFE OF AGONY return to the festival together with with exciting first-time visitors like BILLY F. GIBBONS, FISHBONE, BRUTUS, GREEN LUNG, ANGELUS APATRIDA and BLACKBRAID.

Finally, we are very proud to see the Danish rock and metal scene strongly represented by no less than 21 Danish bands at COPENHELL 2023: KELLERMENSCH, AFSKY, CABAL, MØL, LIVLØS, STRYCHNOS, STEEL INFERNO, DIRT FORGE, SATURNUS, LAMENTARI, GALGE, UNDERGANG, RIVERHEAD, FOREVER STILL, NIGHT FEVER, DEMON HEAD, CROWN THE BEAST, IOTUNN, STATEMENT, ROT AWAY and DEFACING GOD – and of course also JAKOB STEGELMANN AND AARHUS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA!
