Doom MetalLos Angeles quartet FAETOOTH plays doom as if they’re dreaming it. Their music moves slowly but heavily, like fog concealing something both beautiful and dangerous. Thick, fuzz-drenched riffs meet airy vocals and droning guitars, turning each song into a ritual rather than a composition.
Drawing inspiration from shoegaze and dark folk as much as classic doom and sludge, they create a sound that floats somewhere between the ethereal and the earthly. The atmosphere is almost sacred – pulsing rhythms, melodies dissolving into echoes and voices that whisper from somewhere just beyond reach.
Live, FAETOOTH isn’t an explosion but a descent – a dark space where time dissolves, and sound becomes a trance. Doom with soul, weight and the courage to be quiet before it strikes.
